Foreign Experts Banquet.

We went to a very elaborate banquet for all foreign experts in the Province. You can see on the red banner what the celebration was about.

Carved Watermelon.

The food was beautiful and the carved ice, watermelon, and squash (bird) were absolutely
astounding. It's hard to believe it can be done, but there it was before our eyes!

Tables were loaded with strange and beautiful food.

Fountain at Night.

That night on the way home, we passed the newly constructed water fountain at the front entrance to our university. They had the water spraying and the lights on and it was very impressive.
